ABOUT US
Making the decision to leave the workplace or curtail work to stay home with a child is a difficult and important decision in a woman’s life.  While the joys and challenges involved in raising children are rewarding, often women miss the camaraderie afforded in the workplace and end up feeling isolated.  Our goal is to support stay-at-home mothers by offering events, activities and outings that allow our children to play and make friends while moms do the same!

International

MOMS Club® is an international, non-denominational, not-for-profit organization (501(c)(3)).  It is a network of 2,000 chapters and more than 100,000 members in 7 countries. It was founded in 1983 when an at-home mother decided she was tired of being alone at home.  She wanted to meet other at-home mothers and find other at-home children for her children to play with.  When she discovered there were no organizations that met during the day and allowed her to attend with her baby and preschooler, she decided to start a new organization; the MOMS Club was born.

Local Chapter

Since our founding in 2003, the T/E North, PA MOMS Club chapter has grown into a robust membership including families with children of all ages.  We meet during the day on weekdays, when at-home mothers need the most support.  We believe that having children shouldn’t isolate you, so you may bring your children to all meetings and activities.  There is no limit on the child’s age, so mothers with infants are as welcome as  mothers with school-age children.  Even as your child enters school you are welcome in the club – mothers of children of all ages need support!
